What's Inside of Hot Pink's Makeup Bag.............. De-Puff Your Self!!!!!!
"Perfect for anyone with a face"…. thats the best way to put it, ladies…since the ICE WATER eyedews are the latest trick of the trade. Tired eyes? Puffy eyes? Dryness?--no match for these little nutrient infused gellies that, once refrigerated, sit under your eyes to work their magic. I used them this morning and literally could see a difference and definitely felt a soothing effect.
Each pad is infused with Aloe, collagen, Vitamins C&E and Amino Acids. The cool feeling alone is a wonderful feeling on the under eye area, but the hydration and gentle de-stressing they deliver is unbeatable. (How can you go wrong with Aloe)?
I used to have a gel mask (sort of like the Lone Ranger's) that I loved. I kept it in the fridge and when I felt puffy or stressed, placed it over my eyes and VOILA..it felt wonderful. But these little babies are so much more portable and functional--with the only exception that the nutrients are liquidy and therefore could mess up some makeup if you were to use them over make up, say at the office. But they work wonders and you can indulge sitting upright while being prepped for your big photo shoot or lie down and relax….its up to you!

Dr. Balshi, Miracle Man
Recently, we sent one of our extremely high-profile, and ultra fabulous clients ("M") to see Dr. Thomas Balshi, M.D. Below; she shares her incredible experience, and head-turning results:
Walking into the new swanky offices of the Dermatology and Liposculpture Center in Delray Beach Florida, "M" is warmly greeted by the office staff. After a brisk introduction, she is whisked back to one of the Skin Care Rooms, where she is consulted about a series of microdermabrasion treatments by the friendly head of the Aesthetics Department. (A microdermabrasion treatment is a painless exfoliation process done with crystals that leaves the skin feeling smooth and glowing.)
When her treatment concluded, it was time for her to meet the man behind the curtain, Dr. Tom Balshi. With his superb bedside manner, gentle touch with a needle, magnetic smile, and personality to match, he first checks any freckles, moles, or spots that might appear to be pre-cancerous or cancerous. Next, he whips out a mirror, holds it in front of her face, and patiently listens to her concerns about constantly looking tired and drawn. "No problem at all," Dr. Balshi says with a wink..."You ready?" he asks while gently pressing an ice pack to her face.
Now as a sidenote, we asked Dr. Balshi what goes through his mind before coming up with a custom treatment plan for each of his clients, and his sincere response gave us a glimpse into why his clients keep coming back for more. He states:
"Everyone I see is looking for cosmetic improvements, and everyone is totally unique. Certain treatments are better suited to certain personalities and lifestyles. No treatment plan is ever the same (even though the same products may be used). So if the patients does not have a "sexy" look, I'm not going to hook her up with smokin' lips or insanely hot cheek bones...because she wouldn't be able to pull it off, and it could cause some psycho-social disconnect, even if everyone else agrees that she looks great. I like to try and match the beautification treatment with their "life".... it's extremely personalized to maximize self appreciation while keeping it in the comfort zone. I'm the one seeking perfection...that's my promise."
Before she knew it, "M" had a little Juvederm here, a little Botox there, and a few minutes later, the ice was back on her face. Handing her the mirror, Dr. Balshi says, "You look like a million bucks." As she gazed at her new reflection she couldn't help but fully agree.
Not 24 hours later, she is lavished with compliments left and right. "You look great today!" "Don't you look pretty and fresh this afternoon..." She smiles and gratefully accepts the compliments, knowing well that her latest discovery of Dr. Balshi is now her best kept secret and her new best friend in the endless quest to seek perfection.

Summer Must Have
On hot days in Florida, it's important to stay cool. We have just the product for you. Comfort The Guest has introduced a revoutionary new spray bottle that keeps water hot or cold. We were lucky enough to receive a few samples of their new product, an it has quickly become a can't-live-without item at the Hot Pink Factory.
Although this item is multi-functional, our favorite use so far has been at the beach. Throw a few ice cubes into your Comfort The Guest bottle, and you have a cool spritzer all day long. We've also used these at outdoor shoots for our models to achieve a glistening glow (and keep the models from heat stroke).

The bottles come in a great variety of colors...our favorite is the Stainless Steel.
It's a great product year round, but especially for hot summer days in South Florida. For more information call us or visit http://www.comforttheguest.com/.

Easy, Breeziway, Beautiful
Today we received a special delivery from Breeziway, a company who designs "Feather Headpieces for Today's Fascinating Woman." Quite an intro to live up to! Luckily for us, the brides here at Hot Pink tend to be not only fascinating, but also, fabulous.
Feathers are one of the main ingredients in their delightful hair pieces, but they are also adorned with Swarovski crystals, pearls, and detachable brooches. Each piece is designed to be extremely light-weight, so you'll barely notice you're wearing anything at all.
Breeziway headpieces are perfect for any occasions, but were specially designed for special days like prom, birthdays, and of course wedding days.
Clients can choose from one of over 75 designs or work with the designer exclusively to create a custom piece. Head pieces can also be dyed to match or coordinate with your gown or ensemble.
Here is a sneak peek of the Breeziway headpieces we received at The Hot Pink Factory today:
For more information on these fabulous pieces, contact us or visit their website, www.breeziway.com, and tell them the Hot Pink girls sent you!

Bikini Babes: Piret Collection
One of the major perks of our jobs as stylists, other than, well everything...is that we get a chance to feature up and coming designers in our showroom at The Hot Pink Factory.
Piret, of Piret Bikinis sent us a few of her designs to keep on hand for photo shoots and styling.
The handmade bikinis are all one of a kind and definitely deisgned for the brave beach bunnies who aren't afraid to show a little skin. The ruched backing is one of the details we love, and give beach bums the perfect lift.
She also makes coordinating headbands which can also double for a belt. They look great even without the coordinating bikini--and we love rocking them with our favorite boho maxi.
We're also proudly using them in our upcoming calendar shoot for the Heavyweight Factory--don't be fooled by the name--this is actually a shoot for the sexy ring girls that prance across the ring during fights. (Pictures to follow!)
To get your hands on one of Piret's exclusive bikinis, contact us here at the Hot Pink Factory and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Mr. Mister
Many people have sung the praises of the Evian Facial Mist, and we are at the front of that campaign. If we were stranded on a desert island, and could only bring 1 item...it would most likely be the Evian Facial Spray.
Other than perking up your mood in general, the Evian mister is a real multi-tasking superstar. It combats the dehydrating effects of dry air found in places like airplanes, office buildings, and ...Vegas. The Evian Facial Mist also sets your makeup when misted over a finished face.
The mist also gives a youthful glow while removing salt, chlorine, perspiration, and any other funky remnants on your skin.

The Official Curling Iron of Hot Pink Style
The official irons of Hot Pink Style are made by Enzo Milano. They are hands down the best curling irons on the market, and don't let the clip-free design scare you, they are simple to use once you get the hang of it. And a bonus, these irons are much less damaging to your hair compared to the traditional curling iron model, which can create kinks and dents in your curls.
The Enzo Milano irons create a fabulous wave that lasts all day. They come in different thicknesses depending on the width of the wave or curl you are going for, and their patented Tribostatic technology heats the iron to the maximum temperature in 60 seconds and keeps the heat constant. Additionally, the barrel has an Aluminum non-stick coating that acts a protective barrier to your hair.
It also comes with a heat proof glove for a better grip and avoiding burns, and of course, anything that comes in PINK gets our stamp of approval.
All Irons are available at the Hot Pink Showroom on online at www.enzomilano.com.

Whats in Hot Pink's Makeup Bag?
We've had a busy week! Between photo shoots, videos, and the Stylish Wedding Showcase, we've been all over town. And what's been in our makeup bag? Ken Paves' Navy Eyeshadow Signature Quad and Liner. It's the best color and consistency out there, and it lasts all day without creasing. We're forecasting a navy smokey eye as a great color for Spring.
Make sure to apply a lite nude lip or to really take it up a notch, use a tangerine lip color. Try Mac lipstick Tangerine Trees for the perfect pucker!

Jump On It
It's not that we're against separates, but why wear two pieces of clothing when you can wear one? Our current obsession of the moment...Jumpsuits....Or as we here at Hot Pink like to call them, "Onesies". There are so many different styles, and options to choose from. They're comfortable, chic and despite what most people think, you don't have to be stick-thin and 6 feet tall to wear them, there's a style out there for all body types.
Wear one for running around during the day and a dressier longer version for night. It 's the new black dress for the season. Pair them with a dressy flip flop, or a fabulous stiletto, and you can't go wrong!
Make your next occasion a jumpsuit occasion!

Jenna's Shoe Forecast: Global Warming Edition*
Three earthquakes, threats of tsunamis, and unseasonally chilly weather in south-FLA. It's obvious that the weather is utter chaos, but all of this aside...what's a girl to wear?
This week I am still forecasting 100% boots. But this week, we're highlighting the hybrid boot...the cross between the motorcycle and cowboy style boot. It looks great with a dress, jeans, leggings, and even cutoffs when it warms up (IF it warms up.)
As with any risque shoe choice, you've got to own it. So if you're dying for a pair of boots like these babies, email jdhotpink@yahoo.com for your very own shoe-tastic personal styling experience.
*And for anyone that's legitimately interested in bringing awareness to the threat of global warming, visit http://www.globalwarming.org/.

What's in Hot Pink Style's Makeup bag this week?
Burts Bee's Lip Shimmer, Shade Du Jour: Watermelon.
It's the universal sheer pink that looks good on everyone! And due to it's unique formula, it moistrurizes like a chapstick, has pigment like a sheer lipstick, and the consistency of a lip gloss with a refreshing, cooling sensation. What's better than that?
Hot Pink Style highly recommends making Burt bees a part of your life and a part of your makeup bag! Guaranteed to always put your lips in a good mood.
You can find Burt's Bees at almost any drug store, or even grocery stores, and sometimes they can be found in a fun, fabulous, four pack (Say that five times fast!)

It's Raining Shoes...Halellujah
Every so often, Jenna will bring you her infamous shoe forecast. With a little research, and a lot of instinct, she is able to predict the hottest footwear trends before they're hitting the streets or walking the catwalk.
This week's forecast is: Slightly booty with a chance of wedges. Unlike the arctic tundra that is every state BUT Florida right now, we are lucky enough to have a few footwear options other than galoshes or Uggs.
While the weather is still crisp enough on some days to get away with a flat suede boot (the more adornments, bells, and whistles, the better!) or the occasional booty, it's also warm enough to start making the switch to your springtime Wedges. And for the Wedge, it's architectural heels, and lots of texture all the way. That's it for this week's forecast, but check back soon. You never know when there will be an unexpected stiletto-storm!
For a one-on-one shoe consultation or to book your very own Hot Pink Shoe Party, contact Jenna at jdhotpink@yahoo.com.
