A Lighter Side of Leather

The Hot Pink Perspective
By: ‘The Fashion Massiah’

In this spring/summer season don’t be surprised to see innovation of a winter product. Yes, I speak of leather. Christopher Kane, a Scottish designer, has begun the assimilation of leather into spring silhouettes; changing the curb of trend and creating exciting and unprecedented styling options. The designer used typical slick leathers, and brushed them in  their finishing process, in order to lighten and softened the harsh fabrics. In turn, we have accumulated a genius mix of traditional spring items with a modern aesthetic using the fabrication in shift dresses. Stay tuned in your local department stores and see how this trend can transform your spring apparel options.
